Springtime in New England
Franconia Notch SP
New Hampshire
Nothing gets my photographic juices flowing more than my first
springtime shoot. A longtime favorite location is the White
Mountains of New Hampshire.
Spring runoff has streams flowing at
their best and one of my favorite spots is the Basin area of the
Franconia State Park in Franconia Notch. Folks call the river the
Pemi, short for the Pemigewasset River. Shooting in this area
reminds me of the Smoky Mountains with its lush vegetation, spring
flowers, and of course endless mountain streams. The other thing that
draws me here; It's only a couple hours away!

every day, but that’s okay, life would be pretty boring if it did. I
want Light-Chasers to be able to provide you with the
leadership and instruction you're looking for, to help you capture that
special moment. Gary leads tours, seminars and workshops all across the
